Dale Cox is a lifelong Utahn and a dedicated labor leader who has resided in Murray for 35 years. As a passionate advocate for strong, connected communities, he is now running for the Murray City Council District 2. His goal is to bring practical leadership, transparency, and a deep commitment to service to the core of our local government.
With decades of experience advocating for working families, Dale has established himself as a leader who prioritizes community engagement and listens to the needs of the people. As a longtime union representative and former president of the Utah AFL-CIO, he has championed initiatives that improved job conditions, expanded workplace protections, and secured fair treatment for thousands of Utah families.
Looking ahead, Dale is focused on the future of Murray, where he aims to strengthen our local economy, protect public safety, enhance infrastructure, and ensure that growth is thoughtful and balanced. He believes that local government should serve everyone—not just the well-connected—and that decisions must be informed by community input and common sense.
Dale is not a career politician; he’s a neighbor, a husband, a father, and a tireless advocate with the experience needed to get things done.
